Heron Bay Golf Club (Lodging at Golf Resort)

11801 Heron Bay Blvd. Coral Springs, FL 33075 954-796-2000

Heron Bay Golf Course is laid out over 240 acres giving it a completely different feeling from most golf course community developments. The Heron Bay Golf Course was designed by noted golf course architect, Mark McCumber, solely to create a new home for the Honda Classic. No squeezes and no tricked up holes, just 18 championship caliber holes winding along large waterways. For six years (1997-2002) the PGA TOUR`S Honda Classic called Heron Bay home, crowning champions Stuart Appelby, Mark Calcavecchia, Vijay Singh, Dudley Hart, Jesper Parnevik and Matt Kuchar. http://heronbay.clublink.com/

Jacaranda Golf Club - West and East Course (Daily Fee)

9200 W Broward Blvd Fort Lauderdale, FL 33324-2402 954-472-5836

Jacaranda Golf Course Fort Lauderdale

A $10 Million renovation to both courses breathed new life into a classic South Florida design. Beautiful facility with attentive friendly staff. Two courses played both. Each offers it's own challenges so pick your poison. Course is in great shape. Greens are a bit fast but oh so true. Stay in the fairway, the rough doesn't look too menacing but looks are deceiving. The course is in very good shape, and played though from the tips with greens that rolled smooth and true. http://www.golfjacaranda.com/

PGA National Champion Course
400 Ave of the Champions, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418

Champion Course PGA National
PGA National
Originally designed by Tom and George Fazio for major tournament play, The Champion course at PGA National Resort & Spa was redesigned by Jack Nicklaus in 2014 and hosts the Honda Classic each spring on the PGA TOUR. Although The Champion has generous landing areas and spacious and accepting TifEagle greens, golfers are presented with course management challenges throughout the round. This South Florida golf resort course has five sets of tees to make the course more playable for golfers of all levels. A must-play on any avid golfer's list, The Champion features the Bear Trap, which spans three demanding holes designed by Jack Nicklaus – listen to the designer describe it in his own words. Considered one of Florida's most notable golf challenges, on what is unquestionably one of the best golf courses in Florida, USA Today calls the Bear Trap “one of the toughest stretches in golf.”
Last renovated: Fall 2014 (Celebration Bermuda grass, redesign of the par-4 14th hole leading up to the infamous Bear Trap with the addition of more water and bunkers, and the expansion of No. 1, No. 9, No. 15 and No. 17 to their original size)

Woodlands Country Course -West and East Course (Private Equity Facility)

4600 Woodlands Blvd Fort Lauderdale, FL 33319-6198 954-731-2500

Woodlands Country Club Fort Lauderdale

World famous golf course architect Robert Von Hagge and PGA Tour player Bruce Devlin designed the 36 hole championship layouts, which were constructed by Leo Neal, who promised two of the best conditioned golf courses in the country citing that this was the "finest soil he had ever worked with in Florida." First time playing this course, fairways were in excellent shape greens were running moderate speed lots of undeletion to really make you think. Just the right amount of trees and bunkers don't have to play the driver every hole. Narrow shoots from the Teebox on some of the holes water in play. It has a driving range, putting green and chipping green. The conditios of the tee's, fairways and greens are flawless. It has some good birdie holes where you can get back on track so it's a very complete course. It's made for long hitters but some holes we see ourselves obligated to use a hybrid or long iron because of some water near the landing area at around 290 yds. Definitely recommend this course to have some fun and go low. http://woodlands.clublink.com/
